Privacy policy

This policy covers the AyurRemedy website, www.ayuremedy.com. It is run by AyurRemedy Ayurveda Clinic, Treatment Centre & Pharmacy, #38, Sai Krishna Apartment, TC Palya Main Road, Ramamurthy Nagar, Bengaluru 560016 ("we", "us").

What this website collects

Appointment requests. The booking form does not save or send your details to this website. When you press "Send request on WhatsApp", your browser opens WhatsApp with your name, phone number, preferred date and time, doctor and reason already typed into a message. Nothing reaches us unless you send that message. WhatsApp is run by Meta and handles the message under WhatsApp's privacy policy.

Calls, WhatsApp messages and emails. If you call, message or email us, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, number and health concern.

Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages are read, and see how often the call, WhatsApp, directions, email and booking buttons are used. For booking requests we record only which doctor was chosen, never your name, number or reason for visit. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off, and we do not use this data for advertising. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data under Google's privacy policy. You can block it with your browser's cookie settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Videos. Facebook and YouTube videos on this site show a still image first. The Facebook or YouTube player loads only when you press play, and from then on Facebook or YouTube handles your viewing under its own privacy policy. YouTube videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.

Hosting and fonts. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and loads fonts from Google Fonts. As with any website, these services receive your device's IP address and browser details when your browser asks them for files.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your appointment request or question and arrange your visit
  • To understand which pages are useful and improve the website

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Health information

If you tell us about a health concern in a message or call, it is seen only by the clinic team and used only to arrange your care. Records from your consultation and treatment are kept at the clinic, separately from this website.

Children

Appointment requests for children, including Swarnabindu Prashana, should be made by a parent or guardian.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and call details only as long as we need them to arrange and follow up your care. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics, which is no longer than 14 months.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw any consent you gave, and raise a grievance. Contact us using the details below and we will respond as soon as we can. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the website handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
